Since founding one of Telluride’s earliest continuously operating retail stores in 1974, Barbara now heads one of Telluride’s most successful full service interior design firms. Over the years, she has collected a wealth of relationships with home furnishings and accessories suppliers, gifted local artisans and reliable contractors. She has a unique talent for color selection and works with her clients to create timeless, interesting, and comfortable spaces. She creates interior spaces as personal and unique as the clients that she works with, reflecting their lifestyles and personalities to produce distinctive and personal homes. No two jobs are ever alike. Barbara works from the customer’s perspective, participating in all phases of the design process from concept to completion. Under her leadership, LuxWest has completed hundreds of projects in Telluride including elegant residences, durable rental condominiums, entire condominium projects and the most recent renovation of the Peaks Hotel. Barbara strives to excel in every phase of interior design, working in conjunction with the client, architect, and contractor to produce the ultimate design.

Born and raised in Telluride and achieving her Bachelors Degree in Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Paige began her career as a finance administrator for a Boulder based venture capital firm. A natural at multitasking with an amazing attention to detail, Paige has an uncanny ability to assume multiple duties from project to project, with experience in accounting and finance as well as office management and organization. Being responsible for the day-to-day operations at LuxWest, Paige’s organization skills are a priceless asset to keep our creative environment in order. She has developed a strong motivation towards professionalism and process-oriented management, which ultimately leads to clear and efficient execution of client projects.
